John Perrotto at Baseball Prospectus reports that the San Diego Padres are looking at Kim Ng for their vacant General Manager position.Sigh. Not again.
Need I remind the Padres that a woman should never hold that position? It just shouldn't happen. I want the Padres to succeed, not fail, so I would kindly advise them to stay as far away from her as possible. So far away that they never mention her name again. Ever.
By the way, Logan White is still addicted to drugs, so he would be a terrible choice as well. And he eats children. And he's a robot. An evil one.
Ned Colletti might be available though! Go for it!

I think the Padres should definitely go for Ned. He'll bring them gamers, guys who play the game the right way, and people who know how to win.
I'd like to see Jamie McCourt's job description changed, Kim Ng take over as team president, and Logan White become the new GM. Ned goes to the Padres and immediately signs Jason Schmidt and Mark Sweeney as free agents, and trades Mike Adams to us for Juan Pierre.
Yeah, I've been nervous as shit hearing these padres rumors.
The worst part is they're all over San Diego sports talk.
I've heard a rumor (that I started) that Moorad is a mysogynist and there is not a woman's restroom anywhere in Petco Park, so soon to be GM Ng, please consider this before you get promoted to Dodgers GM.
And, I'd like to personally threaten Kim Ng with so much booing from wherever I sit during Dodgers/Padres games that she'll really wish she were in the other clubhouse.
Arrrrggghhh, I really hope Moorad beefs this one and gets someone less qualified than Ng.
Wow, I just noticed that in the picture its Ng pouring champagne on Bellisario.
I remember watching some interview of Ng where she was talking to Torre and she said something like, "How about Bellisario huh?"
I bet you she's the one responsible for Belly's acq, and that makes the picture that much more meaningful... (if you'll excuse me, I have something in my eye.)

Well Seattle picked a great GM over Ng, maybe Padres will do the same.
She was responsible for him, at least partially. Well, a scout was, and those two run the lower rungs.
dsheridan88-I can't tell if you get the sarcasm and are responding with more sarcasm, or if you don't get it and think Logan White is really an evil robot.
Do I care what success Colletti has had? No, not really. Just like Padilla's Game 3 performance doesn't make me want to offer him 5 years and 50 million. That's not how intelligent business is done, IMO.
How about Juan Pierre for Mat Latos and Adrian Gonzalez? Sounds good to me :-p.
Seriously, imagine Pierre trying to make a throw from that outfield.
